Repairs and restorations

I undertake all repairs, from tonal adjustments to complete restorations. As every job is different it is always best to see the instrument in person and to meet the player to discuss your particular requirements. So please give me a call, or send an email to set up an appointment. I do not charge to look over your instrument and I am happy to provide written estimates for insurance companies should they be nessesary.

Through my work in various workshops around the world and now, in my own business, I have worked with many instrumentalists from some of the worlds leading orchestras. These have included members of the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera, and the New York City Ballet, as well as chamber musicians and soloists.

New Instruments

I large proportion of my work is given over to the making of my own instruments. I do have some instruments available to be tried right now or if you are interested in having an instrument made especially for you, I would be pleased to hear from you.

Bow Rehairs

As a string instrument player, I know that a good rehair is something that is needed often, and usually very quickly! I can usually do a bow rehair within 24 hours, just give me a call to check my availability and arrange a time for you to come in.
